Jun Siong LOW
Principal Investigator
I was born in Malaysia and moved to Singapore for high school. After my Bachelors at University College London, I went to Yale University for my PhD in Immunology with Susan Kaech and Richard Flavell. I then did my postdoc with Federica Sallusto and Antonio Lanzavecchia at IRB and ETH Zurich, before setting up my own lab. I enjoy fitness and racket sports!

Clara KOH

Hi! My name is Clara. I'm from Singapore, and I just completed my PhD at NUS with Professor Nicholas Gascoigne. My research interest is in understanding T cell dysfunction and finding new strategies for therapeutic applications. Outside of research, I dance to keep myself grounded and inspired!!

Timothy TAN

I'm Tim, from the Philippines. I did my PhD in the lab of Nicholas Wu at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am interested in B cells and antibodies in cancer. Outside of the lab, I enjoy cooking, reading, and swimming.

My name is Ronald, born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I did my Master degree training in Chung Cheng University, Taiwan. I am interested in cell and gene therapy for cancer treatment. I enjoy travelling to try new delicacies and outdoor exercise.

Jia Xin LOH
Laboratory Executive
I'm Jia Xin from Singapore, graduating back in 2023 with a Bachelors in Lifescience. Working at FACS Facility has sparked my interest in applying flow cytometry across research fields, particularly in using this technology to identify cells that contribute to meat flavour profiles. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gaming and cooking, all hobbies that can be enjoyed from the comfort of my own home.

My name is Don. I was born in Singapore, where I pursued my Bachelors at NUS, and my undergraduate research under Prof Nicholas Gascoigne, studying T cell signalling. I am interested in dissecting T cell responses against solid tumors for better design of immunotherapies. In my free time, I enjoying watching TV series and dancing.

Aviel TAN

Hello! My name is Aviel. I was born in Singapore. I completed my Bachelor's at NUS and conducted my undergraduate research in Professor Nicholas Gascoigne's lab, where I focused on T cell therapeutic signaling. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Cancer Biology. My research interests involve discovering novel ways to modulate T and B cells in the fight against cancer and delving deeper into genetic engineering techniques. During my free time, I'm always looking for an opportunity to experiment with the cooking appliances I've purchased XD

Emmett WONG
Clinician - PhD Student
My name is Emmett. I was born in Hong Kong, and moved to Singapore when I was three. I am a nephrologist and transplant physician by training, and have completed my Master in Medicine (Internal Medicine) and Master of Clinical Investigation. I have recently returned from a fellowship in Winnipeg, Canada, working on human leukocyte antigen (HLA), eplet immunology, and transplant rejection research. My passion and long-term goal is to become a clinician-scientist who can advance personalized medicine in kidney transplantation and increase access to transplantation through clinical and translational research in transplant immunology. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two lovely children aged 7 and 2. Singing karaoke is a pastime that I can never find enough time for.
